It’s such a great story for Buster. The family saw our website and was looking through all the pups we have in rescue. Buster caught their eye and it was meant to be. They understood we match applicants with the personalities of our pups. As soon as they found out Buster was a possible match they were over the moon. He had his meet and greet on Thursday evening and you could tell he let them know they were his. He was waiting patiently for 24hrs and we got the text they were on their way! Smiles for days and kisses for life is what Buster Posey is in for!
Hello friends, it’s me Buster Bodie joining rescue today! Around my old town my friends called me Beautiful Buster Bodie and everywhere I went everyone wanted to pet me. I was like a super star. I am one year old and I was born in Utah, but I got to Texas as fast as I could. So, I do call myself a Texan now. My family is building a home here, but the building process was taking a lot longer than expected, and I found myself getting really really tired of living in a small place, counting all the corners and waiting for my new home to get finished. Taking walks was hard when the weather was bad. I am not a fan of walking in the rain, and the wind would just about blow me off my feet. So with that being said, I was ready to find a family that had a yard, a big living area for me with a big soft sofa and some kids, because I love those too. My Mom cried big tears today when she said good bye, and she hugged me so tight I was like fixing to pass out. But I knew she loved me and it was alright. I am looking forward to spending my first summer is Texas, and I can hardly wait for my new family to meet me. My name is Beautiful Buster Bodie the amazing Bulldog.
5/8/19 Update: Hello everyone my name is Buster. I just turned 1yr old and looking for an active family that can TRY to keep up with me. I love to run and play and would like a big back yard to do that in. Even though I am an inside pup I can’t wait for summertime! Finally settling into my new foster home and boy are there so many bulldogs to play with! They all don’t get my personality, but that’s ok. I found a young one named Hali that totally knows what life is about. We are kind of in our own world here. Playing and laying next to each other is LIFE! She has a habit of only keeping two paws on the ground. This is due to the other two on my shoulders. She loves nibbling on my ears and I love it. She is my pal and keeps me entertained most of the day. So far I have showed my foster parents I don’t chew on things other than toys and for the most part I am potty trained. I still have the occasional accidents, but I am working on it. Love, Buster
