Helloooo bulldog friends, it’s me Dax joining rescue today! I am 23 pounds of bulldog puppy fun! And do you see me rolling along in the new wagon that is part of our Bulloween giveaway? That’s right, I saw a wagon and I jumped right in! I am going rolling, rolling, rolling! Now back to me. I was found wandering around one day when the temperature was over 100 and a very nice shelter picked me up thinking surely someone would be missing me. So, I waited and waited and waited and you know what, not one person came looking! I was not really shocked though, I had missed some meals, and I was ready to find a new family. And, best part, the shelter and all my new friends there, did all my medical for me. Everyone looked at my teeth, everyone thinks I am 6 months old.
Today was a big day for me. Today I left the shelter, I left my best friend Sherry, and I joined rescue. Sherry just cried and cried. Sherry actually had been taking me home with her and it was working out great, however, all her bulldog Faith wanted to do was lay on me. Faith is fat girl and all I could do was scream for helpppppp. I was afraid I might end up Faith’s brother but when I heard the news I was leaving for rescue, I was so happy. Well, the other things I know about me is, I sit for treats and take them gently out of a hand. I have a set of really really sharp teeth and I am not afraid to use them. I must have lots of chew toys. I am doing excellent at potty training. I do know how to walk on a leash, but I prefer to run everywhere. So, unless you love puppies with really sharp teeth don’t expect to be matched with me. Oh, and if you have fat dogs that like to lay on little puppies, don’t send in an application for me. I just now have straightened up from being flattened like a pan cake!
8/14/18 Update: Foster boy Dax is 4 months old and 20 pounds of pure muscle. He lovesssssss to play tug of war with his foster brother, Blëu, who is 23 months old and 68 pounds of pure orneriness! Dax literally idolizes Blëu’s every move. Disclaimer: Blëu’s parents are not responsible for any ornery behavior foster boy, Dax may or may not learn while here at Gibbs Crib.
10/10/18 Update: Hiiii All, Is this the place I can come to tattle on my foster pawrents?
It is? Ok perfect, here’s my situation: My foster pawrents took me to this place where I thought was HEAVEN with all these different size orange balls!! 🎃
BUT guess what…I couldn’t pick up a single orange ball. I couldn’t chew on a single orange ball. I couldn’t sling a single orange ball around. I couldn’t run and wiggle my booty really fast while giving foster Ma a cute little smirk with a single orange ball. I couldn’t do anything with any of those orange balls! What can be done about this?
