Diesel has been adopted! From his foster pops: Diesel (green harness) hit the jackpot just now! From getting introduced to his new fur brother Bentley (blue harness), they seem to be best pals. It was pleasant to see them playing like they have known each other furever. Jesus and Maria are awesome people. I can tell they have already accepted him with open hearts. He has a new name that fits him perfect “McLovin.” He couldn’t seem more excited to meet them both. They are taking him back to H-town and going to show McLovin what life is all about after rescue. Thank you again, Dr. W and the team at Total Care Animal Hospital, for nursing him back to health for this adoption to happen. I will see you soon, McLovin. Until then, keep waggin that tail…
Welcome 18 month old, 60 pound Diesel to rescue. He came to us by way of two different shelters so we know nothing about his background. The second shelter had him neutered, but he most likely needs entropion surgery on both eyes. Other than that, he seems to be a perfect bulldog. He is so sweet and well behaved for his age.
3/20/17 Update: Diesel here: I am a lovable, furry, good natured boy. I like meeting new people big and small. I still have my buddy around that plays with me non stop. If you got a chance to see his story his name is Nicholas. I tend to be so quite you might forget I’m here sometimes. Don’t bark much, I think it’s over rated. Love those belly rubs and don’t mind taking walks. Just looking for a family that can spoil me with affection. I am finally healed from my surgery and my eyes no longer bother me. Thank you to rescue for that relief.
