Donna

Donna

Today was a special day for Donna. She had her meet and greet yesterday that went beyond well. Once entering her new potential home, she explored every nook and cranny. I felt so happy for her to be in an only human household. I could tell once I took her in that being in a big pack really wasn’t her cup of tea. She removed the wall that was created to shield herself from all the commotion. So happy that she received a new collar, chew bone, and a loving new mom. It was pleasant to see the new side of her forming now. Still gets me every time when I have to let one go. The look on their face and them wanting to follow me. Taking deep breaths because I know she has found the best home for herself. Funny thing is Donna found Donna. Her new mom’s name is Donna so she will be named Pippa. I held her one last time and gave her kisses goodbye. Love you, Pippa, and I know you will flourish in your new furever home!

Please welcome Donna to Rescue. She is one of the Six Pack and is now at our vet for evaluation and treatment. Check back for more details.

6/24/17 Update:  Hello, everyone. How are y’all? I have had a great time here in my foster home 🙂I am an easy-going lady who is kinda shy. I get along with everyone and enjoy a nice, comfy blanket on the floor over a couch. I have no problem eating what I am given. It’s been a great day today, playing in the new pools we got. Really excited for summer, if this keeps up. I am looking for a nice home and I don’t mind any fur sisters or brothers.

7/2/17 Update:  Hi, it’s Donna. I have been a little discouraged lately. I have seen some of the other foster dogs get meet-and-greets. I am happy for their success, but yearn for my own family. I just want someone to love me. My foster pops tells me I will find someone, and not to rush it because it will happen. He tells me I am perfectly unique. I get along with everyone. I seek attention and would love to be someone’s lap buddy. I love to nap and dream of my furever family. Please submit an application and maybe we could end up happy together furever.
