Happy, happy adoption day, sweet Elsa! Y’all… this was literally love ❤️ at first sight! Elsa was so excited about her new family and we couldn’t have felt more confident letting her go! Tears of absolute J💜Y!

Hello everyone, Elsa here joining rescue today! Do I look famous? I just might be. I have been on a “Found Dog” flyer and have been shared everywhere. My new friends have gone to the area shelters to ask if anyone has come looking for me. I would have my face on a milk carton if I could find a milk carton these days. I really don’t know where my family is.  What I do know is, late at night I was crossing a busy intersection and cars where dodging me right and left. But, thanks to a very kind lady who got out in the pouring rain and helped me get in her car I did not get run over. It helped that she had tacos, because I love tacos. For a week or so I have been just hanging out waiting for someone to miss me. I think I have had puppies, but not many litters. My nail were trimmed, my ears looked great, and my fur is soft. I know someone loved me. What I don’t know is where they are. I have moved in with Dr. Larsen and the ladies at Bright Star. I started to feel like maybe whoever lost me was not looking for me and I wanted to be in tip top share if I need to find another family. Dr. Larsen thinks I am around 3-4 years old. I am not microchipped and I was not wearing a collar. I am very sweet. I have loved all the dogs I have met, and all the people that see me are amazed at how wonderful I look. All I need now is my family to find me because I am fixing to start looking for a new family so I can be a part of something great again.

4/1/19 Update:  I’ve had a spectacular week with my new foster family! They just love ❤️ me to pieces! I’m a diva 👩‍🎤 so stand back if you can’t handle a little sass! I love playing outside with my three teenage human siblings, and of course Champ. He definitely lets me run the show! I’m very energetic, but am always up for lots of snuggle time.  My foster mommy says I would probably do best if my family spent a majority of their time at home. Foster mommy works from home, and I like being close to her. It makes me feel loved and safe.
