Houston

Houston

Houston has been adopted!  Houston was so excited when we arrived at his new home. He went straight to the door and right inside, like he knew he was home. Mike and Joanna are Houston’s new dad and mom. Houston has a fur brother, Bubba, who will help Houston navigate his new home. Houston will also have a big brother at home and sisters, who were visiting from school. This wonderful family had lots of energy and love to give this special boy. They are looking to rename him but hadn’t decided on his new name just yet. So, to the Bulldog soon to be formally known as Houston, happy tails!

Our volunteer drove to the Houston SPCA to bring back Houston, a 2 year old owner surrender. The rescue coordinator called us the second Houston was surrendered asking us to please come for him.  We checked with the rescue’s in Houston and no one had room for another bulldog. He is short, fat, white, double cherry eyes,  skin problems, and pretty much what we get.  However, Dr Larsen describes him “as sweet as can be!”

8/28/18 Update:  This is Houston and I have touched down at my foster home. Foster Ma says I am full of energy. I love, love, love toys. I want to play all the time. I found the toy box my first day here and pulled out all of the plush toys because those are my favorite. I have a foster sister, Sunshine, but she doesn’t play with me. Foster Ma calls her a Diva… whatever that means. Foster Ma says she is so happy with me as I am already potty trained. I’m a smart boy and I know where to do my business. I’ll go for walks, but those are not my favorite. When Foster Ma says it’s time to go home, I trot the whole way without stopping. Have I told you how much I love toys and how much I love to play? Well, it’s all true! I’m looking for an active furever family to play with me. I’d also like to have a fur sibling that likes to play because I love, love, love to play and I love toys. If you’re looking for a loving playful boy, look no further! Fill out that application because I’m hoping I’ll get matched to you!
