Ned

Ned

Ned checking in, but checking out. That’s right ~ as you might of heard, I found my furever family! I was so nervous because Foster Pops said the family was meeting both Romeo and me. It felt like a showdown and I didn’t know if they would like me more than Romeo. Foster Pops prepped me ~ he cooked me a good breakfast and we had a good talk. He told me that if it’s meant to happen, it will happen. He told me it wasn’t the family’s decision if they wanted me, and I was confused until Foster Pops told me it was my new potential fur sister’s decision. I thought having a sister would be so nice. I promised Foster Pops I would love and protect her. So, I have been on my best behavior since my last meet and greet with the stairs.🙁 I was getting the hang of it, but it was a little challenging because of my short stature.

Anyways, Foster Pops gave me plenty of loving and we loaded up in the car and headed to the meeting place. He kissed me goodbye because he had to go to that thing called work. So, I patiently waited for my family with my paws crossed. Don’t worry ~ I was left with another rescue volunteer until the meeting took place. Well, fast forward and they get to meet my sweet face. I poured on the charm on and it worked! I’m one happy man and will now have to do perimeter checks at my new casa. It’s such a wonderful feeling being welcomed into a big family.

I wanted to say thank you to Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue for helping me find happiness! And thank you, Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue community, for all the confidence and good wishes. 🐾Ned🐾

My name is Ned and I am a very special Bulldog. I know I am special because so many people have told me that over the past few days. But if I am so special, why did my family let me wander off and never come looking for me at the shelter? But enough of the past. I’m going to look forward.

I am 2 years old and I am very short and small for a grown Bulldog. I only weigh 40 pounds. My ears stick up more than some and my legs are a little bowed. But that is just more reasons to love me. I love people and other dogs.

But I could be a perfect companion for you and your family. Why not fill out an application and see if I am a good match for you?

1/28/19 Update:  I just got in to my foster home and wow, is it busy here. There is fur to my left, right, above me, and well, just everywhere. This is the first time my foster parents have had so many male Bulldogs. I am a bundle of joy and will keep you on your toes. My foster mom found out today that I am not “box-friendly.” This is going to be a problem because my foster home lives on Amazon Smile. LOL! I can’t wait for all the deliveries!

I am a big man in a little, solid body. They seem to love my good looks and I’m glad they do. Really you can’t stay mad at this face could you? I love roaming around and I have my own room, even with all the pups here. I’m not dog aggressive and haven’t really opened up to play with anyone just yet. Still feeling out my surroundings; so hopefully soon I can find a playmate. Feel free to comment and share my pics! 🐾Ned🐾
