Poppy has been adopted! Daniel and Elizabeth left Houston before the sun came up to adopt Poppy today. In fact, Elizabeth was up all night just waiting for the proper time to leave to get here and adopt one of the sweetest Bulldogs that rescue has ever had. Poppy is everything an 18-month-old Bulldog should be: alive with energy, into everything, and just 100% puppy. But, Elizabeth and Daniel are up for the challenge and love, love, love Bulldogs. Poppy has found her perfect family. Much happiness, sweet family!
Please welcome Poppy to our rescue family! Poppy is 18 months of Bulldog perfection. Poppy came from a great family that loves Bulldogs and was really sad to see her go, but understood she needed a family with active dogs and an active lifestyle.
At 18 months, Poppy has one speed and that is super fast and super playful! In Poppy’s home, there were two seniors: a fluffy black dog and a Boxer. And wow, when Poppy started a game of tug-o-war or chase, she could make some old dog fur fly. And there lies the problem. Senior dogs find Poppy’s desire to play just plain annoying. They forgot what it was like to be young and full of energy.
So the 40 pound Poppy packed her bags and is anxious to find some fur friends with enough life left in them to play with her.
