Spanky has been adopted! It was a Bulldog match made in heaven when Spanky strolled into Dr. Larsen’s veterinarian office and Dr. Larsen laid eyes on him. Unlike the many Bulldogs that go there, Spanky had his own agenda and it was to wow the ladies, charm the men and touch the hearts of Dr. Larsen, her husband Mario and their kids, Alexis and Joel. In December, their Bulldog, Max, went to the Rainbow Bridge, leaving a huge hole in the family’s heart and no one was quite sure that the timing was right for another Bulldog. Then, in walked Spanky. Dr Larsen started fostering him, but soon they had bought a wagon for him so he could roll and not walk and he was being hand fed. He soon had a new collar, harness and leash. It was a done deal.
Spanky had won the hearts of everyone he had met. He was now a official member of the vet clinic… the official greeter, a new staff member. And Spanky was home. Spanky was surrendered out of love, and never missed a beat. He walked right into another loving, perfect family. Much love and happiness to Spanky and his family!
Handsome Spanky has joined rescue as an owner surrender. His family has experienced a number of setbacks and was no longer able to provide the care he deserves. After months of anguish and trying everything, they reached out to rescue. Spanky is a wonderful 2 year old boy.
