I am one smokin’ hot Bulldog babe, just like the original Tory Burch… You know, the purse and the shoe lady. I do have a shoe fetish. Well, every woman loves a good pair of leather shoes, so I really can’t say I am much different that any other lady who loves the finer things.
Now, let me tell you a little about myself… I am 5 years old. My fur is genuine, not fake, and it is soft as silk. I do love a good spa day. A spa day makes me feel like a million dollars! My nails were painted hot pink, but I thought that might be too much for the average person, so I removed that polish and now I’m just wearing clear.
My perfect family will have a leather sofa with some soft blankets. And a pillow or two. I am not much of a crate lady, but I love a leather sofa. I hope my new family has other dogs in their home because I love friends. I have never been around cats, so I don’t know if I like those or not.
I am going to see Dr. Larsen tomorrow. I already sent her pictures of myself and she just about fainted. Dr. Larsen has been waiting a long time to see a Tory Burch in person! I explained to her that I must sit in her lap and assist her in the clinic. She was 100% on board with that! So I’ll be off to the clinic on Monday to sign some autographs and then have a few minor surgeries because a lady has to do what a lady has to do. Then on to finding that leather sofa for me and you!
3/21/19 Update: Foster girl Tory Burch is about ready to leave the vet clinic for her foster home. She is a super sweetheart who loves to be near dogs or people.
4/12/19 Update: I have been with my foster family since Tuesday and I want to let you all know that I am doing great. It is really a wonderful home. I have a fur brother here and we get along just great. I am just as curious as can be ~ it has taken me the last 3 days to explore every inch of the house, including the upstairs I have impressed everyone with my ability to go up and down the stairs, but foster mom won’t let me go near them without supervision. The yard is great and there is a lot of grass for me to do my business, which I am really good about (except one time, but I’m going to chalk that up to opening night jitters).
My motto is ‘talk less, smile more.’ Seriously, I haven’t said a peep since I’ve been here, but I can’t stop smiling. I also can’t get enough love. You can pet me anywhere and I love it ~ face, back and, of course, belly rubs are always a big hit. I’m a giver, too. I will give you all the kisses you can stand, and them a few more just for good measure. I will go in my crate when told to, but I really prefer being out with the family. I won’t hesitate to let you know that it has been too long since the last time you petted me. I’m good at tapping you on the leg, even if you are working on the computer or trying to eat or watching TV.
Speaking of the TV, foster dad sure does love watching golf and so do I ~ I mean, really, look at all that perfectly manicured grass.I rode really well in the car from the vet to my foster home. So, stay tuned for next week’s update as I hear that we are going out in the RV… whatever that is.Take care and have a great weekend! ~ Tory
4/23/19 Update: I have been enjoying sunning myself on the patio. I also have discovered ice cubes, and let me tell you something: they are delicious! Foster mom likes them because they are low cal and free. 🙂
It’s been a good week. We’ve been hanging out and getting the garden ready for spring. I have to admit, I am still working on doing my business outside. Those carpets just keep calling me. But, with work and patience, we are all getting on the same page. I hope to meet y’all soon! Tory
5/1/19 Update: We had such a great weekend. We took the RV up to Lake Lewisville for two days and I was the perfect passenger. Foster Mom and Dad laughed that I was asleep before we left the driveway. Once we got there, I got to walk down by the water, but I wasn’t interested in going in the lake, which was fine with everyone else. I like life on the road, as long as my bed and food bowl come along, that is… 🙂
I have really gotten into the routine around here. I never miss an opportunity to potty outside, now that I know that is what is expected. I usually just follow my fur brother wherever he goes, and so far, he hasn’t steered me wrong. He even let me have his bed. I tried to help out this week with the vacuuming, and let me tell you something: I have never seen Foster Mom laugh so much. I was not scared of the vacuum. In fact, I just kept jumping on it and trying to bite it, like it was a game. Boy, that was fun. I can’t wait for vacuum day to come again really soon!
This spring weather has been great. We have been spending a lot of time in the backyard. We even went for a few walks on the leash, although I am not really sure how to walk with a leash. I just want to walk right in front of your feet and trip you. Isn’t that the way to do it? I don’t pull and am in no hurry. In fact, I’m not really in any hurry to get anywhere, unless it is to my comfy bed. I am just as sweet as can be. I LOVE to snuggle and give kisses. Well, that is all for now. See ya next week. 🙂 Tory
5/14/19 Update: I sure hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day. As you can see from the photos, I spent the day soaking up some rays in the back yard. All that rain we have had really isn’t my favorite, but I don’t mind the thunder (I just snooze right through it). Foster Mom says that if sleeping was an olympic sport, I would not only get the gold medal, I would likely hold the world record. I figure, if you’re going to do something, you should really give it your all. 🙂
I really am just the sweetest love bug you can imagine, and if you like to snuggle and receive lots of kisses, then I may be the one for you!
