ON TEMPORARY MEDICAL HOLD!

Please welcome Wyatt Georgie to our rescue family! Here’s the deal ~ I was found as a stray and brought to a shelter. The nice shelter people found my owners, but when the shelter people said I needed surgery, the family didn’t want me anymore.

Truth be told: that’s fine by me! I’ve spent my whole life, all 6 years of it, as an outside only dog! Can you believe that? Who does that to a sweet Bulldog boy like me? So, needless to say, I’m excited to join other Bulldogs here at Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue and get to sleep inside on a soft bed, with A/C on hot days and a heater on cool ones! If you ask me, I’ve hit the jackpot!

I’m at the doctor’s office now to get some medical issues tended to…. like heartworms. UGH. But I’ll be ready for a foster family and even a forever family before you know it! Look for more updates from me in the future.
🐾❤️Wyatt!

10/25/19 Update:  I’m called the Wonder Dog because I am a Bulldog that has spent his whole life outside. Cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I didn’t know, until I came to Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue, that’s a NO-NO for Bulldogs. Well, I know the difference now! I like being inside! I have a nice bed, it’s cool during the day and cozy at night. There’s plenty of food and water. Oh, and there’s lots of this new stuff called “Love and Attention.” I didn’t know life could be so GOOD!

I’m about 6 years old and I’m just now learning about how Bulldogs are supposed to be cared for… I was found wandering the streets. I was taken to the local shelter, where they contacted my owners. They never came for me. So, then Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue was called. They came really quick. I didn’t know at the time, but my new life had just begun.

Dr. Larsen says I have heartworms and need treatment, but then I will be just fine. I then get to go my foster family. After that, I’ll get a family of my own. She says, for the rest of my life, I will live inside and only go out to play, walk and potty.

I’m a quiet guy. I’ve only had myself all these years to talk to, so I’m a little shy around people. Don’t get me wrong… I love the attention. I don’t understand why they are giving me so much of it. To me, I’m just Wyatt, the dog in the backyard.
I’ve learned about my leash and I am doing really great walking on it. Toys? I don’t understand them just yet, but I’m sniffing and looking at them. I’ll figure those out too!
I’m now known as WYATT, the WONDER BULLDOG! I’m living and learning that Bulldogs are special.
