After a typical morning of breakfast and exploring the backyard, our newest buddy Wally laid down for a nap, and for reasons we’ll probably never know, never woke up. He seemed very peaceful and suffered no distress or struggle. Wally was probably older than we thought, and lived a tough life before we had him. We tried our best to give him a great life in the too-brief time that we had him, and while we know our time with our fur babies is always limited, we never expected him to leave us so soon.
He loved going on walks and for rides in the car, snuggling up with his humans, lounging with his bully brother Teddy, and getting a cheese treat when he did something good or just because. He was such a calming force in our chaotic household and he will be forever missed for his charm and his sweet nature. We are grateful to have had the chance to have this gentle soul as a member of our family. Rest peacefully Sir William Wallace, we hope you are in a better place now.
