Our sweet, little Grandma crossed over to the rainbow bridge on Saturday, October 31st. In the short time that we were able to have her with us, she brought so much joy to her foster family. She was a breeding dog kept in a kennel her entire life so when she was given the chance to be with people, she thrived in her foster home. She would even go around and try to get the other dogs to nurse on her. She was a mama and this was all she knew in her short 8 years of life. You could find her everyday laying on the chest of her foster dad for hours of unconditional love. She would make sure her face was right next to his and her tail was always wiggling. She had the most soulful eyes and would look at you with all of her wisdom and pain. She knew she was in a better place and appreciated even the smallest gesture of love. She brought joy to all of us and she will always be remembered for her sweet, sweet face and her precious disposition. We will always remember you Grandma Betsy….
