I adopted Clyde in April 2016 from the rescue. I wanted to let the rescue know that I had Clyde put to sleep on April 14, 2020. Clyde has been battling lupus for about a year now and it got to the point where all the meds and treatment plans my vet and I tried were not working. This last week, he took a turn for the worst and was showing signs that he was beginning to suffer, so I made the hardest decision of my life. His fur sister, Laggy, and I are devastated. Our hearts are broken. Clyde brought so much love and joy to our family. I just want to thank y’all so much bringing that sweet boy into my life. I wish our time together could have been a lot longer. I think having another bully around will help both Laggy and I with the loss of Clyde. He can never be replaced, but we have a lot of love to give.
Clyde has been adopted! He now has a sister. Her name is Laggy and she looks almost identical to him! They both even have the same birth month, so they will get to have birthday parties together! Clyde is so excited! Laggy and Clyde are already best friends and he’s loving his new home in New Braunfels, Texas. His momma is spoiling him rotten!
Welcome two-year old Clyde into Rescue. He was an owner surrender today and was taken to the clinic to get checked out. His owner moved and left Clyde with his daughter who just could not afford to care for him with her growing family. So she contacted us so we could find him the perfect family. He is neutered, and needs to put on a little more weight. He has plenty of energy, but walks well on a leash and seems very well behaved.
3/28/16 Update: Hello, everyone! I’m happy you came to see what I’m about. I love attention! I am 2 years old and I love to go on walks. I will even bring you my leash! Oh, don’t let me forget… I love to have my belly rubbed and ears scratched, too. I really enjoy getting weekly baths. They feel so good! I am such a good boy, I don’t have any accidents in the house. Oh, and I love to go on car rides. Let’s load up and go on a road trip!
