A heartbreaking start to the day…. we learned of the unexpected passing of Super Cooper. His furever pops said he passed away in his sleep last night. Coop, you were one in a million ~ we’ll certainly miss you and your crazy antics. Until we meet again, sweet boy…. fly high, and keep stealing all the fluffy blankets you can handle.
Cooper joined rescue today. Cooper was taken to a local shelter by a family that could not afford his veterinary care. He has a severe tail infection, an eye infection and a mass on his throat. The shelter called LSBCR and said he was an emergency situation and asked if we could help. Cooper will went directly to the clinic to start treatment for his infections. Once he is released from the clinic he will join his foster home and begin his journey to find the perfect forever home.
11/22/2015 Update: Larger than the sofa is Cooper. But just as nice as he is big. Cooper I would consider a man’s bulldog. He is big, strong and is a attention hog. He would not be a bulldog for a family with kids. He does not know that running over and thru people to get where is going is bad manners. We are working on walk, what he hears is run, Run Cooper Run at full speed ahead. Coopers neck and tail stiches come out this week and he will be looking for his new family to run tooooo !
