Millie

Millie

Our hearts hurt to know that alumna Millie earned her angel wings today. We’ll see you again one day, Millie. Thank you for making this world a better, brighter place just with your smile.

Please welcome Millie to our rescue family. Millie was found as a stray and taken in by dog a lover, while she looked for her owners. After no one claimed Millie, she began looking for a place for Millie to live because she knew Millie had medical issues and needed special care. She was put in touch with Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue. Now, Millie will get all the medical attention that she needs and be on her way to being to the Bulldog she was meant to be.

Update from Millie’s foster momma: Millie got her first bath on Sunday after we picked her up. She was quite dirty and has several sensitive areas, but you could tell she enjoyed the attention and it made her feel much better. She is just the sweetest, most-loving, little girl, even though you can tell she doesn’t feel very good. This morning, we took her to Dr. W’s at Total Care Animal Hospital, so soon after she has a full exam, we will know all her medical issues and get her on the road to healing.

Millie just began her heartworm treatment and confinement and she could not be easier to keep. She is a calm and sweet soul that loves her people, soft blankets and her food. She gets along great with all her temporary foster siblings and is doing wonderfully with her house training. Millie has the sweetest eyes and you can’t help but want to hold and snuggle her close and tell her what a gorgeous girl she is. Millie’s forever family will be lucky indeed.
