Petunia

Petunia

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Petunia’s furever family. She went to the Rainbow Bridge unexpectedly. Her momma writes: Petunia died a few days ago. I got her from y’all in August. The doctor said she had an allergic reaction to something and her throat swelled up and there was nothing more I could have done. She had the best life with me and was my person. She will be missed.

Petunia was ADOPTED!!!!Today is a beautiful day for Miss Petunia.  It is her adoption day!!!! It was instant love at first sight for Petunia.  The sweet, shy little girl went right to her mommy and showed off by playing and wiggling.  This was the first time we have seen this much excitement from Petunia!!

We are thrilled for both of them. Petunia will now by the princess she deserves to be. She is going to a very loving mommy that wants to spoil her rotten. Happy tails, Petunia (Tootie). We will miss you

Petunia  is a 4 yr old female that weighs 50 lbs. Petunia joins LSBCR as an owner surrender. She is a beautiful girl that has been well cared. She will be going to the clinic for a quick check up and to be spayed. Once that is complete, she will be joining her foster family and beginning her search for her forever family. It shouldn’t take long for this spunky little flower to accomplish her mission.

7/26/2015 Update: We’ve had miss Petunia for only 24 hours and she’s the sweetest girl. She is a little apprehensive, but getting used to loves. She follows us around a lot and stays very quiet. She got a little upset this morning when I stirred some ice in a glass. The noise was scary but she calmed down quickly. She loves her kennel and goes in for naps or when we ask her to. One little accident inside, but this precious baby is getting used to new surroundings. She has already decided that sleeping on a soft bed is the life for her. She is just beautiful. She seems to be fine with fur foster siblings, Clemmie and Mazie, so far.

8/2/2015 Update: If there is anyone sweeter than Miss Petunia (we are calling her Tootie), I don’t know who it is.  Her personality has come out a lot this week. She did great with her spay and is healing nicely. Dr. W said she is very healthy.  She is starting to play with her fur foster siblings and humans.  She is even giving kisses!!!  She has become a little attached to her foster daddy and stays by his side. She doesn’t bark or fuss about anything except a couple of times when her fur siblings were pestering her. She has the cutest snorty sounds and won’t refuse a cookie. She is still a little apprehensive at times, but getting used to life with lots of loves.  She is well potty trained and has had only one accident in the house when she first got here.  She has not been kid tested.  If you want a quiet, sweet, gentle little girl that likes to chill and get belly rubs, Petunia is your girl.
