Bella Rose

Bella Rose

Bella Rose likes to think that good things come in twos. A belly rub is always better when it’s followed by another belly rub. A cookie is better when it’s followed by another cookie. And one name is better when it’s followed by another, and that’s why she likes to be called Bella Rose.

Thing’s haven’t been the easiest for Bella Rose, an owner surrender, who is almost 7 years old and weighs a dainty 52 pounds. She had entropian eye surgery, which has required eye drops, and recently had her tail removed, but she is healing nicely. She’s currently on antibiotics for skin infections, but that will be cleared up soon.

Despite all this, this beautiful rose is bouncing back just fine. While she can be a bit timid and shy, her foster mom says: “she is just as cute as can be!” She is already potty trained and does well on a leash. It is unclear how she does in a crate, as Bella Rose has free range in her foster home. She has shown no signs of aggression, and so far has done well around dogs. It is yet to be seen how she does with cats and kids, but her foster mom does have a mini pig that Bella Rose seems very interested in, though they won’t meet until Bella Rose is all healed up.

Aside from being the center of attention, Bella Rose enjoys chewing on her toys and following you around. She really just wants your love and attention, but because she can be a bit shy and timid, she would probably do best in a quiet environment where someone can be home with her during the day. Bella Rose’s foster mom is continually amazed by her sweetness – “Bella Rose deserves to know what love is and she will blossom like a ‘rose.’ How someone could let this little girl go blows my mind. She is sweet and loving.”
