Chloe

3/8/16 Update:  From her foster dad: Chloe’s health has been declining for a while. We made the difficult but right decision this morning to end her earthly struggle and help her cross the Rainbow Bridge. It was one of the most difficult things we have ever done, but I was glad to be there holding her in my arms as she crossed the Bridge. She was such a blessing to all our family and will be greatly missed.

6/13/2015 Update: Chloe was ADOPTED today. Not everyone wants to adopt a senior bulldog, but this was not the case for Chloe’s new family. It was love at first sight for them. Chloe now has a bulldog brother and the family is complete.  Congrats to the entire family.

Chloe is a 11 yr. old female that weighs approximately 65lbs.

Chloe has rejoined Lone Star Bulldog Rescue through no fault of her own. She was originally adopted 4 yrs. ago and was living the good life with her mom.  Recently her mom had to change to her living arrangements that would not allow Chloe to stay with her. Previously Chloe was know to have a bit of a feisty streak, however her foster family says she has been the perfect houseguest. More details to come from her foster family as she settles into her daily routine. The perfect family will be  a quiet home where Chloe  can relax and enjoy her senior days.

5/31/2015 Update.Chloe is an 11 year old dark brown/brindle and white female. She was adopted from rescue four years ago but surrendered by her owner yesterday. Her owner has moved in with her son and family in Austin and they no not allow dogs over 40 pounds. Chloe will never be that small again. . She moves around well for her age and enjoys exploring the yard. She easily gets up and down steps, but enjoys her naps after a 30 minute walk around the yard. She simply loves being outside. She is crate and potty trained and walks well on a leash. She is a great older dog and appears in good health and attitude.

6/7/2015 Update: Chloe has been with us for a week now and is fitting in with us and Winchester. She is becoming much more comfortable with everyone and making herself at home. She had a visit with Dr. W on Monday and got a clean bill of health. He did start her on a supplement for her joints. But for an 11 year old she is in great shape. She has only had one accident in the house, and has not bothered anything around the house. She loves to spend time in the yard and we have taken short walks down the street. She walks with a limp, but it doesn’t seem to bother her at all. She is just a calm, sweet, and loving older girl. She loves 30 walks and three hour naps!
