Daisy Mayflower

Daisy Mayflower

Please keep Daisy’s family in your thoughts, as they recently had to say goodbye to their sweet girl. Her mom writes: I wanted to let y’all know Daisy (Mayflower) passed away peacefully at home early this morning. We recently found out she had liver cancer and the surgeon felt she only had a 50/50 chance of surviving a very complicated surgery and her quality of life may not have improved. We adopted this angel in June 2017 and had just over 4 precious years with her. Thank you, Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue, for allowing us to bring her into our family.

Daisy Mayflower has been adopted! From her foster momma: Daisy’s big day has finally arrived, and she left today to embark on her new life. She’ll have a mum and dad, skin sister, and kitty housemates. She is one lucky girl. She will be her new sister’s first dog, and I think she and mellow Daisy will be perfect for each other. Daisy knew today would be special and that they were coming for her because she went to the gate as if she were expecting someone. With her bags packed, she was all set to go, and her little bum wiggled away when they arrived. It’s always such a joy to see happy endings, and today didn’t disappoint. Happy tails, Daisy!

When Daisy’s owner knew that she was dying she asked her friend to please take care of Daisy; don’t take her to a shelter, and don’t put her to sleep. Daisy had always been loved, taken care of and adored. Quickly Daisy’s new family knew that they were in over their heads when Daisy’s allergies flared up, her hair started to fall out, and she never stopped scratching. So, with bulldog allergies and needing mediated baths and proper medication Daisy Mayflower has found her way to rescue. She is kid, crate and cat friendly. All Daisy needs is a trip to the vet for medication and a family to call her own.
