Poor George has had a rough time of it. He came to us from a Dallas shelter in pain and despair. He is heartworm positive and has started treatment for that at our rescue vet’s office. He is also a little thin, but is eating like a champ, trying to get some real bully weight on him. He seems to know he is being taken care of and loved, as most rescue dogs do. He also had a bad broken leg that was never fixed, poor guy. No one ever bothered to get it checked at a vet. It has healed, but he will need some extra medication for the rest of his life to keep it from getting painful and so he can run and play like the other “kids”. He is a sweet and loving boy that would love a couch to rest his bully head on and a family to give him all the attention he deserves. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines and micro-chipped. George is about 4 years old and his adoption fee is $450.
