Mugsy and Hazel Jo (now known as Daisy) are officially sisters. Today they both headed off on a big car adventure with their new Mom and skin sister.
There are two very special things about this family and adoption. One is that not too long ago they made this same journey and adopted two precious girls from LSBCR. These two girls are now also officially new sisters for Mugsy and Daisy. The second thing I will leave for a surprise that one of our other foster families will reveal 😉.
Hazel Jo (Daisy) is such an affectionate girl and just loves attention. She still has many things to learn but her new family will work with her so the amazing girl she is can come out. We are both going to miss those sweet hugs and entertaining toy time.
Miss Mugsy can only be described as special. She stole both of our hearts the minute we met her and she soon became foster dads little girl. Mugsy has the sweetest eyes and most innocent face which made it so hard to be mad at her when she performed her Houdini escape attempts. She would just look up at you and wiggle that little tail and all will be forgotten. You have taken a big piece of foster dads heart with you Mugsy girl.
Congratulations on getting the life both of you sweet babies deserve and also to this amazing family who is continuously willing to take in these amazing bullies and give them a second chance.
Some of you might not have seen me before today, unless you came out to Bright Star Veterinary Clinic. While I’ve been known as Mugsy my whole life, my foster mom and dad think the name “Lizzy” fits my personality. I don’t know.. I think I kind of like it.
Let me tell you a little more about me. I am just a little girl and am 5 years old. My foster mom and dad say I am as sweet as can be. I lived on a farm for most of my life, helping to take care of everything. I love being outdoors because that’s where I spent all my time. Due to unfortunate events, my family could no longer take care of me so they thought it was best to let me join rescue.
Some may say I may not look like the typical Bulldog, but trust me, I sure act like one. I am getting along great with my foster sister and I have to be constantly moving. Anyways, I gotta go for now. It’s that constant moving thing I was telling you about, but I’ll check in again later.
Bye for now…. Hey, wait for me!
9/10/19 Update: I’ve been in my foster home for a week now and boy, do I love it. I have my own bed, toys and delicious food. My foster parents told me to make a list of what I would be wanting in my furever home so I’ve thought about it and here goes.
1. A comfy lap. Do you have a lap that needs to be filled? I will gladly fill it.
2. Toys. I have figured out what toys are for and decided I really like them.
3. A backyard. I just love hanging outside. Sometimes my foster parents have to make me come in because I just love to lay in the sun.
4. Food. This stuff is amazing. Foster mom makes me all this delicious food and I can’t get enough of it.
5. Love. I LOVE EVERYONE.
So there you have it. My list isn’t long yet, but honestly it doesn’t take much to make me happy. All you really have to do is look at me and my tail starts doing helicopters. I enjoy short play sessions with my foster sister, but honestly,I wouldn’t even mind being your one and only. So if you’re looking for a pocket-sized Bulldog who loves everyone and everything, then look no further. Maybe we can be a match!
9/16/19 Update: I have settled into my foster home. My foster parents say I’m the sweetest girl with the biggest, beautiful brown eyes. I know where to go when it’s time for food and I know where to go when it’s time for potty. I do love to lay in the sun so the foster parents are always on my back to come inside. I really do love being outside.
Do you need a friend to help you in the garden, snuggle with you and love you forever? Look no further, people, because I may be your perfect match!
9/30/19 Update: Sweet little foster girl Mugsy isn’t your typical diva Bulldog girl. She is so easy going. All she wants is a family of her own. When you look at her or say her name, her little tail starts going 100 miles per hour.
