Loretta (Now Moneypenny)

Loretta (Now Moneypenny)

Loretta has been adopted!  The day finally came for sweet Loretta to meet her forever family.  I don’t know who was more excited-the 2-leggeds or 4-leggeds!   Loretta is now known as Moneypenny and she will soon realize that she has hit the jackpot for a family.  This is the third time that her new mommy and daddy have adopted from LSBCR and the second foster dog from THIS foster mom!  To say I was excited to see my former boy, Monty is a huge understatement.  And Im not going to lie-I did get a little emotional when he got out of the car.  Moneypenny is going to be loved, spoiled and cared for like never before, just like Monty.   Shoot, Monty even came with toys for the other bullies in the house, which was so thoughtful of he and his family.

Foster Ma and Dad will miss this silly and funny little girl, with her crooked smile and big liquid brown eyes that just melts your heart.  The funny snorts and odd sounds she makes when she is happy…and even the toots that will make your eyes water and clear the room.  I wouldn’t have changed a thing.  Happy tails, pumpkin.

Howdy y’all!  My name is Loretta and some say I’m a chunky gal. I prefer “full figure” myself! They say I’m around seven years old. I was found wandering the streets and I don’t remember much of my past life. I know this nice man picked me up at this place with a bunch of barking dogs and wouldn’t stop loving on me. He kept telling me everything would be alright. Because I had all this nasty green stuff running out my nose he took me to this nice doctor where I met some very loving people. They told me I was beautiful and was going to have a spa day and get a mani-pedi. I am not sure what that is, but I hope they trim my nails. They are so long they make my feet hurt. They also said I might get some teeth pulled, because some have really been hurting me lately.

Once I have my spa day and get over my runny nose I will be up for adoption. They say people will line up around the block to take a pretty girl like me home with them. I can’t wait to come home with you.

5/31/17 Update:  Loretta has been with us a couple of weeks now and she is such a joy to foster. She is 7 years old, but she sure doesnt show it. She is all about the love and snuggles. If you stop petting her, she will gently paw you to say, “You’re not finished yet!” She has the most precious face, loving eyes that just melt your heart and this adorable sideways smile. In one word: irresistible. She’s been a little finicky with her food and at first, it was because of her mouth being sore after some bad teeth were pulled. We’ve tried all kinds of different additions to her food, but she’s been sporadic in finishing it. This morning, we tried just the kibble and BINGO! Safe to say, Loretta is a simple girl. She is doing great with house training, just an accident or two as of late. The adopters of this baby girl will be the luckiest family ever!

7/6/17 Update:   Loretta is having a great week. A very sweet family is coming up to meet her in a couple of weeks. She will have a new brother that just happens to be from Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue, too! She is just such a sweet and special girl and I know it will be a perfect fit for her. She makes us smile everyday and has been such a joy to foster.

8/14/17 Update:  Loretta has had an awesome week and she is definitely in countdown mode for her new life and family that will happen this weekend.  She is such a little clown and so full of personality, even though this girl loves her routines of naps, snacks and belly rubs.
