Mack the Cadillac

Mack the Cadillac

Hello everyone, it’s me Mack the Cadillac and it has been a long time coming for me! I was adopted this week.

I joined rescue what seems like a long time ago, but recently I hit the Jackpot!  I have a wonderful new Mom and her name is Ashley! We are like best friends. She is no stranger to bulldogs, but she told me she thought I was the very best by far.  I don’t really know if she told me that or if I just think I am!

My favorite thing in the world to do is play ball. We spend hours playing ball.  She throws the ball and I run like the wind and get it and bring it right back to her.  She might get tired of playing ball, but I never do.  It has taken a while for someone to understand me, other than all by friends at Bright Star, but Ashley understands me.  Ashley hugs me and kisses me and tells me she loves me ever day!

Watch for updates and pics of me from time to time on social media. My Mom loves me and she can’t stop taking pics and telling everyone what a wonderful addition I am to the family.  Thank you for never giving up on me and waiting till Ashley found me. It is a match made in heaven.

Bulldog people, I have joined rescue today!  My name is Mack.  Mack the Cadillac.  A couple years ago my sister Gracie joined rescue. I was kinda bummed when Gracie left without me but I understood.  Not everyone gets to go when they want to.  But today was my lucky day and here I am.  I had a great family and they loved me a lot.

The problem was I was not the only dog in the family, and when I got tired of them the fight was on. I am kinda “super -sized” and thick and if there was a rumble, I was going to win. So, after a lot of thought my family decided the best thing for me was to be an only dog in a family!  I will be having a little surgery to help calm down my hormones and then I will be ready for a family that is fur free and will be happy with just me.

I know commands,  I am crate trained,  potty trained, and walk well on a leash.  I am just trained!  I love all people.  Not all fur though.  So, if you are happy with loving just one bulldog then choose me, Mack the Cadillac. You will absolutely love me!  I am amazing!

10/18/20 Update:  Everyone loves foster boy Mack the Cadillac, and Mack LOVES his ball! He will let you take it from him, but he does not like to share with other dogs. He may need to be an only dog, but perhaps with more time and training, he can get beyond that possessive attitude. He seems to do fine with other dogs, as long as there are no toys around.

11/2/20 Update:  He is 65 pounds of love! Mack is house trained, crate trained and walks very well on a leash. He is on meds for some eye issues and has a recheck with the eye doctor this week.

Mack is obsessed with his toys! He takes them everywhere he goes. If he walks outside for a potty break, he takes a ball or toy with him. He loves a good game of fetch.
Mack knows commands such as sit, stay and “drop it.” He snores non-stop when he sleeps and loves belly rubs like a true Bulldog.
