Maximus has been adopted! He wants everyone to know that he is retiring from working so hard with Foster PaPa doing events. He is going to be taking it easy in his new home. He will have the whole house to himself. There will still be plenty of biscuits and gravy, lots of truck rides and plenty of farm visits. He will still make an appearance every now and then just to say hello. We are so happy for him!
Well Bully Nation, my name is Maximus but you might as well call me Spud. Why Spud you ask? Well, it is because I have been passed around like a hot potato! I am just 6 years young and I have been given away 3 times so far. First time I left because they were not nice people. And I was ready to go. Second time I got lost but the shelter reunited me. After a short stay, I had some physical and emotional pain to work though and well, I was feeling better but they decided they did not have time for me. Third time my Mom decided she was not able to take care of my skin and she felt like I needed a bulldog savvy family that understood all about the breed. I have cried my last tear because I cannot seem to make any more. I need a family that can put drops in my eyes because it makes my eyes feel so much better. I have a skin infection but it will be starting to get better now that I am with Dr. Larsen. So really that’s all I need. I need eye drops, medicated bathes, and for you to love me unconditionally, and we can stay together forever because I am tired of packing my bags to go . Love Max
1/21/20 Update: Foster boy Maximus is back on the circuit… looking for his valentine and a perfect furever family him! Maybe he’ll meet both at our next Bulldog Bonanza on Feb. 9 at Campisi’s in Rockwall. Hopefully, you’ll be there too!
1/27/20 Update: Come meet Maximus at our next Bulldog Bonanza! We’ll be at Campisi’s in Rockwall on Feb. 9 from 2 to 5 p.m. Maximus will bring his wagon and bench, so you can take a Valentine’s Day photo, too!
2/3/20 Update: Are you ready to have a ball at Sunday’s Bulldog Bonanza? So is foster boy Maximus! We’ll be at Campisi’s in Rockwall on Feb. 9 from 2 to 5 p.m. Sone of our 70+ foster dogs will be there, so you can see them up close and personal. Come learn about adopting, volunteering or more about the breed in general. We’re here to help!
