Mia

Mia

Mia has been adopted! We are so happy this little sweet pea has a family to call her own. She found the perfect match. She is on her way to the Concho Valley. Mia will now have two skin brothers, a mom and dad. She packed her bags this morning, including her bed and toy box. She had a good cuddle with her foster sisters, and snuck a kiss from her foster brother. We will miss this little sweet pea, but know she has found the perfect family. I just got a text to let me know she had her first family outing to Petco on her way out of town and she is already starting to bond with her new older brother.

Please welcome Mia to the Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue family. She writes: Hey, friends… It’s me, Mia! And guess what? I just had a birthday last week and I am now 3 years old. I kept hoping I was going to grow up to be a big Bulldog gal, but that never happened. I am like a little bitty Bulldog that can go on a plane, sit up front in first class and look out of the window at the clouds! Being small does have its advantages. Being small has some disadvantages too. For instance, some big dogs pick on me. They step on me and they call me names like shrimp, pee wee and the worse: SQUEEK! I kept telling everyone they are bullying me and bullying is a BAD thing, but they just laughed and laughed. They said bullying a Bulldog like me is gonna happen unless I grow up. Well I am grown, and I am small, and I am amazing. I love myself and when you meet me, you are going to love me too.

9/3/17 Update:  Foster momma said I am smarter everyday. I’m listening very well & I am no longer chewing her shoes. I have been diverted to the toy box and I have gotten the hint.  I’ve got a few more weeks here at the B & B to just chill with the other fur babies and my new furever family will be here to take me to my new home.

9/26/17 Update:  Foster girl Mia’s meet-and-greet wasn’t a connection, so she’s back on the hunt! From her foster momma: This sweet, happy, little (but solid) Bulldog needs a family. We are looking forward to meeting you this Saturday at the Brunch for Bulldogs!
