Olivia

Hello all bulldog lover’s, it’s me Olivia and I am glad to be in rescue! I wish someone could fill in the blanks in my life and tell me why I was treated the way I was. I was born a beautiful, healthy bulldog baby, but somewhere along the way someone forgot to love me and take care of me. I found myself on Craigslist for sale, and was bought by a family that could not afford my health problems that were caused by years of neglect. I am so glad that for once in my life I got to go to the vet’s office when I was surrendered to rescue. And this is what the vet said about me…. Dear, sweet Olivia you are about 7 years old, have heartworms, a staph infection, an ear infection, your toe nails are curled underneath the pads of your feet, and you have major loss of sight due to needing entropion surgery years ago. Olivia thought her life was over until I told her that rescue was going to fix all her problems and for the rest of her life she would be treated like the queen she was born to be! Olivia has had one heartworm treatment and will have one more. Next she will have both eyes fixed, Doc feels certain he will be able to restore enough sight that she will be able to get around just fine. Olivia truly has a heart of gold. She loves everything and everyone. Her ear infection and eye infection are both noticeably better. Olivia will need eye medication for the rest of her life. Olivia will not be medically ready for her “furever” home for a couple months, but she sure would love to know that someone will be waiting for her when that time comes. Could you be the family Olivia has waited for her entire life?  She will be spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and on a heartworm preventative after she finishes her treatment.  Olivia’s adoption fee is $400.

Since Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue is completely volunteer driven we are unable to respond to every application that is submitted.  Therefore we will not contact you unless we feel we have a dog that will fit with your family
