First things first – Pattie wrote that rhyme herself. But aside from being a talented poet, there’s some more that Pattie would like for you to know about herself.

Pattie is about five and a half years old and came into rescue from a shelter after her owner surrendered her. Since then, she has been getting healthy and enjoying the good life! She is currently getting over a bladder infection, but should be back to 100% soon. In addition, she has some bumps on her back from a formerly neglected flea infestation. Though the bumps remain, the problem is handled, and she is otherwise in great health.

When it comes to other critters, Pattie hasn’t been tested around children, but loves people in general, so should be good with kids as well. Pattie has a habit of barking at and chasing cats, but her foster mom is working on training her on that. As far as dogs go, is generally submissive, but will act out if she feels threatened, though she has never shown any signs of aggression over toys or food.

In her free time, Pattie likes to nap with her tongue out. She feels comfortable in her crate and is happy to hang out there, but is also very affectionate and loves to be around people. She is relaxed, well-trained, and a good listener (even when told “no”). Her foster mom describes her as a bit shy, but playful and sweet.
