His family came up from central Texas just to meet this special boy and it was love at first sight. Rocco hopped in the car and off he went, with a very special family that has adopted from Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue. We’re grateful that they decided to once again open their hearts and home to an amazing Bulldog. Word has it that when Rocco got home with his new family, he picked out a toy, jumped on the couch and made himself right at home, like he had been there forever.
I made to Puckett’s Nursery for my Valentine’s Day photos today, and I just decided to stay! Nah, not really … but I did join rescue today. I am 5 years old and pretty much perfection. I have had all my vaccinations, some eye work performed, been neutered and now, I’m looking for a brand new family that has a lot of time for a fella like me. I eat fast so I need a slow feeder, and I eat special Bulldog food that is prescription-only, but other than that, I am 100% healthy!
I had been living with a parrot that walked around the house, a Great Dane and a Yorkie, and we all got along fabulously. The only thing I am not sure about? Cats. I’ve never been around those. I do great in public places, I do great at the park, and I do great when people come over. As you can see from my photos, I know how to sit and stay. My perfect family will have kids and a lady. I love ladies.
So, I really don’t have a sad story. I have always been loved, but sometimes, things change and what we think will be forever takes a new turn. And I am just fine with change. Actually, I am looking forward to a brand new family that needs me just hanging around and sitting in their laps! I am headed to sit in Dr. Larsen’s lap on Wednesday for a once over, just because she might not have ever seen a fine fella like me.
