Taz

Taz

Taz came to Lone Star Bulldog Club’s Rescue with another very sick bully from the Austin area.  Her pal is still recovering but Taz is ready for her forever home.  She is about 2-3 years old and a very sweet girl!  She is eager to please so her housetraining is coming along nicely.  Her foster mom has been taking her out every two hours and rewarding her with a food.  Taz is very food motivated!!  When she has free roam of the house, she lays in the kitchen just in case it might be closer to mealtime than she thinks. Her foster mom has taught her to sit before she puts her food bowl down and she can barely do it for dancing around (while trying to keep her backside on the floor).  It’s hilarious!

At first she really squealed and whined when she was crated, but now she’ll go in happily following a treat, and will usually stay quietly unless she hears someone at home.  If she’s gated in the laundry room, however, she’s fine even if someone is at home.??

Overall, she’s energetic and playful, but in a gentle way.  She’s started trying to play with Pilgrim (her foster brother), and she is really sweet.  Her foster mom thinks she would be good even with small kids, because she doesn’t really jump and loves attention.

What about it?  Can you give Taz a chance at a happy home?  She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and on heartworm preventative.  Her adoption fee is $500.
