Buster has been adopted and joined a wonderful family!
My sister, Cassie, and I joined rescue today. As you can see from our pictures, we are in bad shape. We were found abandoned and then we were given to rescue so they could fix us up as good as new.
I am about 5 months old and weigh 43 pounds. My skin is covered with fleas, demodex and oozing, bleeding sores. My skin is inflamed and my feet are so swollen, it is painful to walk. I have an irregular heartbeat, but that might be because I’m so sick. I will need to be in the vet clinic for a while. I already got a bath today, and I will be getting three a week from now on. I love to be loved on and pampered! It’s been a long time since I was treated this nice.
I hope to get well soon so I can be adopted. I haven’t decided yet if I want to stay with my sister or branch out on my own. So stay tuned and see what we decide. In the meantime, I’m going to focus on becoming healthy again. Please keep my sister and me in your thoughts.
2/15/19 Update: Foster boy Winchester got himself all gussied up for Valentine’s Day! He even had on his handsome P Dawg accessories for bulldogs necktie for the special occasion.
2/27/19 Update: Winchester LOVES playing fetch! He especially loves the squeaky toy.
7/10/19 Update: My name is Buster, aka Winchester. You may remember me and my sister’s arrival at the rescue…BAD TIMES! I try to forget it; hence, I love my new name, Buster.
Since my last appearance, I have been spending some time with a great family. Unfortunately, there is another fur brother who did not seem to like me there. No hard feelings though, the family rocked, and I would have been angry, too.
On to the good news! I am available for a new family. Preferably a home with just me, as I love the attention. Look, I have so much love to give and cuddling is my thing. Playing ball? I am in! Crates? If my blanket is in there, I am too… but I prefer to be by your feet! Toilet trained? Of course! I even wait to eat until you tell me to do so.
Just a forewarning to you all: if you want to be matched to me and be my forever family, you better rush in your application. I will not last!
So, to sum it all up: I love hugs, love kisses, love strangers, and I will love you too! If you are down to be on the other end of that, I hope to see you soon! Buster
8/14/19 Update: Did I tell you I am a good boy? I seem to get along with strangers, both fur and non-fur. I am potty trained and have not made any mistakes in my new pad. Oh, and huggable? Thats me! Watching TV? I love to watch Animal Planet.
I weigh a little over 50 lbs, but I am still a lap dog. I will jump in your lap to sleep and when I leave my crate, I will thank you by giving you a hug.
I love being with people. If you don’t believe me, watch out if you leave me alone. I turn into a detective and search through your mail, bags… anything I can get in my mouth. Foster Dad was a little sore at me for making a “mess,” but I say, he should have put that stuff away. 😃 Like I said, you won’t see me doing it when you are near me.
Well, I am reviewing applications for my new furever family now! Please send one in and maybe you’ll be matched to me. Can’t wait to meet you!
