Hooray!! Alysa has been adoipted by a wonderful family who understands and accepts her sometimes quirky behavior.
Today, a nice man gave me my freedom ride from the shelter! I had to stay there several days, but thankfully, I’m now free…. and safe.
I cannot tell you much about my past, but I can tell you I recently had some babies. I am about 4 years old and weigh a thin 40 pounds.
I tried to sit in Dr. Larsen’s lap, but she said my breath smelled too bad and she’ll need to fix that first.
I already had my spay at the shelter, so there will be no more babies for me. I think I have a bladder infection and some other health issues that need to be addressed. I also learned I have worms in my heart. Ugh. That just sounds nasty, doesn’t it? I know the staff here will help me, though.
Everyone tells me I am such a nice dog. I try my best to be nice to everyone and every animal. We all just need love. I am looking for someone to love me and never let me go. Is that someone you?
4/28/22 Update: This little brindle girl is ready to be your lap buddy! She will snuggle right up in there and never leave. She has the best manners and walks so nicely by your side on a leash. Her favorite thing is to be brushed with a nice, gentle, soft rubbery brush. She loves it so much, she starts to purr. Yes, purr! See her on this bench? Jumped up on it herself! Good strong legs!
5/5/22 Update: This 4-year-old brindle little lady LOVES love. She is so ready to give her heart to a special someone. Alysa is a wonderful walking companion and is very sweet meeting new people. She loves belly rubs, back rubs, ear rubs, any and all attention!
5/12/22 Update: Are you looking for a sweet companion to keep you company on your walks, make new friends with your neighbors and settle on the couch for a good snooze?
Alysa may be your perfect match!
This sweet lady is ready to be your best friend. She loves EVERYone and is just a joy to be with. Alysa has a beautiful soft coat and loves to be petted and rubbed. Look at that face!
What a terrific guest she is! She settled in nicely into her gated area. She has great manners at the dinner table. She ate all her dinner and politely asked for more, which of course she got!
No accidents in the house at all. No marking. She sits by the door when she wants to go out. And she likes to go out! We’ve had a least three walks in the last 12 hours.
She slept nicely in her crate all night. She barked around midnight, so I took her out. She needed to pee. Shame on me, I gave her water too late. I’m sure if I hadn’t, she would have made it all night.
We learned that she likes the pool. She jumped right onto our sunbathing deck. Luckily, we always have a leash on her. As you know, Bulldogs aren’t always good with water.
She had a bath and ear cleaning this morning, which she throughly enjoyed.
