10/7/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Beth Dutton to our rescue family.
Because someone refused to look the other way when they saw the condition these Bulldogs were living in, Beth Dutton and her best friend, Rip Wheeler, finally got the chance to leave their past behind and join rescue. It took some convincing, but on Sunday, their lives changed.
Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are both 5 years old. They were raised to be baby makers, but that never happened. Instead, they spent their days living in a backyard enclosure that sat on rock. The enclosure was small. The days were long. And there wasn’t much more to their world than the little space they were given.
But Beth Dutton has clearly decided she has had enough of that life.
She is starved for attention and absolutely soaking up every bit of affection she can get. After spending so much of her life with so little, Beth Dutton is discovering that people can actually be pretty wonderful.
And then there’s Rip Wheeler.
Rip Wheeler has some skin issues that we’re working on, but the thing that seems to matter most to him is Beth Dutton. He never wants to be far from her. Wherever Beth Dutton goes, Rip Wheeler wants to be right there beside her.
These two have been through life together, and now we’re going to make sure they get to experience something completely different: comfort, care, attention and the chance to finally just be Bulldogs.
Beth Dutton’s breeding days are behind her and her best days are ahead.
