Sophie Rose and Bevo Buddy hit the jackpot with a fantastic furever family! They will be spoiled by their parents and have tons of fun with their fur brothers Tank, Archie (Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue alumni) and Rudy.
I packed my backpack and hopped in the rescue wagon and here I am today in the pumpkin patch just pickin’ away!
Thursday was a super hard day for Mom. She fought back the tears when I was getting ready to leave. But some things had changed in my family, and I felt like it was time to head out and be someone else’s “everything.” As we all know, sometimes life just throws you a curve that you don’t see coming.
I was absolutely surrendered out of love. Mom hugged me tight and told me that I would live in her heart forever. She said she would watch me start my new life on social media. She said she expects me to be with a new forever family soon, and she wanted me to make them as happy as I made her. So, that’s my job and I am sticking to it. I will make a new family happy!
I understand a lot of words, my manners are perfect and I have a lot of energy. I love kids and I loved the other Bulldogs in my foster home yesterday. Plus, you should see me play ball. I can really fetch them balls. Let’s play ball!
11/8/21 Update: Bevo joined his foster family just a few days ago. He’s the sweetest guy with a ton of energy! He loves toys, people and other dogs. He got to join us yesterday at Bar 2909 and loved meeting all the people. He’s a great dog!
11/18/21 Update: Bevo is the sweetest guy. He’s an expert snuggler and just wants to be with his people. He loves toys, playing and chasing the lawnmower. He’s a very good boy and does a great job of pottying outside. He’s also a Cowboys fan! Here, he’s doing his best Zeke impression (notice Zeke on the TV in the background).
11/24/21 Update: Bevo’s the sweetest guy! He loves snuggling and being playful. He doesn’t want any part of doggy disagreements and stays away if our other dogs get into a scuffle. He loves playing in water and loves bathtime…he doesn’t want to get out of the tub! He’s a champion chewer, already chewing through a leash and a garden hose…foster Poppa was washing his car and all the sudden the pressure dropped in the hose.
12/13/21 Update: Sweet Bevo Buddy officially has a girlfriend, and it’s none other than foster girl Sophie Rose 🌹! They love snuggling together, and Bevo doesn’t mind being the little spoon. Bevo continues to look for his furever family. He had a meet & greet last weekend that did not pan-out through no fault of his own. He’s a great guy!
1/3/22 Update: Bevo is checking in from his vacation VRBO. Bevo is a great house guest and loves to be with people and dogs. He’s a really good walker and has great energy. As a bonus, he’s very handsome!
1/7/22 Update: I loved having Bevo at my house. He was wonderful with our other dogs and respected them at all times. He was so excited when we would come home from somewhere, you could not help but love him. He didn’t have one accident in house and was the greatest walking partner.
That’s right: if your resolution for the new year is to get in some extra steps, Bevo may be the perfect walking partner for you! He is a willing and enthusiastic participant!
