Elliott Kemp

Elliott Kemp

For sure, Elliott Kemp knew it was his big day! Elliott danced, spun in circles and was so excited when his new family came to pick him up.  Elliott could not have picked a better family. He has a new sister, Lola, and a new brother, Treble, to play with. But most important of all? Elliott has a new mom and dad who think he is the best addition to their family that there ever was. Much happiness, Elliott, as you start your new life with a great family who is going to just spoil you to death!

Hey ladies there is a new fella in town and it’s me, Elliot Kemp! Today I hopped in the rescue wagon with my back pack and my belongings and I left my life of service behind. Yep, I retired. I was ready.  The ride has been wild, a lot of fun, met a lot of ladies but now I am retiring to the sofa with the big screen TV.

October 5 is my birthday and I will be 4 years old. I always celebrate with everything pumpkin. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin ice-cream. I love pumpkin everything.  And pumpkin is a fruit and I know fruit is good for me.

I made it today to sit in Dr. Larsen’s lap. A little bit of me hung off, but I held on tight and Dr. Larsen loved me. It was a bit of a shock when I got on the scale and it said I weighted 77 pounds.  First thing I asked was has that scale been checked lately by the “weights and measurement” company because no way I could weight that much. I still have a waist so that means I am not overweight. I did feel a lot better when my new rescue friends told me I was just “big boned.”

Dr. Larsen told me she was going to do a little snip-snip and I would be asleep and I would not feel a thing. She said when I woke up I would have an entirely different feeling toward the ladies. Well I don’t know about that, but what I do know is there is a sofa out there somewhere with my name on it and I am sure ready for that.  Elliot Kemp and a sofa—that sounds perfect to me!
