10/6/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Max Knight to our rescue family.
For 10 years, Max Knight had a home and a family. He lived inside with his dad and knew the comfort of having a place to call his own. But recently, everything changed.
Max Knight’s dad went to the hospital and wasn’t coming home. Someone else was moving into the house, and suddenly Max Knight was being moved outside to live in the backyard.
A concerned woman knew that wasn’t the life Max Knight deserved. She reached out to his son and asked if she could take Max Knight so he could join Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue.
Thankfully, they said yes and the rest is history.
When Max Knight arrived, he was covered in fleas. A few much-needed baths took care of those little freeloaders, but his skin is still showing the effects of all those years without the care he needed. With some TLC, we expect this handsome boy to be looking, and feeling, much better in no time.
Next up is a trip to the vet, a little snip-snip and then Max Knight will be ready to start looking for something he’s been missing for a long time: a couch and a family to call his own.
But Max Knight also needs something even sooner: a foster family.
Our foster homes are the heart of what we do. They give Bulldogs like Max Knight a safe place to land, help us learn who they are and what they need, and give them the chance to heal while they wait for their adoptive families.
We can adopt to approved families throughout the country, but our foster families must live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area so they can stay close to our partner veterinarians and participate in our rescue events.
Could you open your home and help a dog like Max Knight begin his next chapter? He’s already waited long enough. Message us to learn more.
