Too many emotions today. Louise gave birth to six babies, but we lost one boy ~ a water puppy with a cleft palate. Then we heard about Schnitzel (formerly Angelina Jolie). She also earned her angel wings today.
Her furever momma writes: Schnitzel crossed the Rainbow Bridge today. She had total kidney failure. I know Louise had her babies today and one didn’t make it. Can you please let Louise know that Schnitzel got there just in time, and as a puppy mill mama herself, she will take good care of that baby? There’s not enough Kleenex in our house.
Angelina came to rescue along with Johnny and Bradley from a puppymill. A DFW Pug rescue group pulled these poor babies and certain death and brought them to Texas. They all have demodex mange, skin infections, ear infections, eye infections, cherry eye in one or both eyes and an assortment of other ailments. The good news is that none of them have heartworms! They are all very, very sweet and just crave attention. We will be updating you on their progress via the website and our Facebook page (Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue).
