Bandit

Bandit

Please send your sympathies to the family of alumnus Bandit. They recently had to say “see you later” to their sweet boy who will forever be a part of their hearts.

From his momma: It is with the heaviest of hearts that I write this. We had to say goodbye to Randy Bandit Grumbles (formerly Bandit) on June 18. The comeback kid just couldn’t come back from this last attack on his body and it was time to let him go.

We adopted him in 2019 and he had lots of ups and downs, but he was always the sweetest most loving boy and my shadow.

I was really hoping he would make it his 12th birthday this October, but I am grateful we really did it up for his 11th.

Thank you so much for bringing us together. When my heart mends some, I am sure we will be reaching out again to meet another special pup to help fill the gigantic hole Bandit left in our hearts.

I wanted to let everyone know I have relocated to Colorado! That’s right ~ I have found my furever home. I have a new fur sister, Betty White. My new parents are Bulldog-savvy to say the least. I have been diagnosed with some medical challenges that they are willing to undertake. I was nervous it might change their mind on me. I really wanted to be apart of their family and it happened! Here is a pic of us Thank you, Dr. Larsen and Bright Star Vet Clinic, for helping me. Also, a special thanks for Dr. Lay for my much needed help.

I just left the only home I ever knew. I’m not sure what all a divorce is and does, but I didn’t know it meant I had to leave too! My mom who raised me from a pup said she couldn’t take me where she was going and this was the only way to make sure I had a good home.

So with a bucket of tears today, we all said our goodbyes. I sure hope she will be alright. I know I will because I’ve already met some wonderful rescue people. I am 6 years old and weigh almost 70 pounds. Some people say that is too big, but I think it is just right! I am in pretty good shape, except for an eye with a little goop in it. I love playing with kids and I get along with other dogs too.

So I’m off to the vet clinic to be checked out and to be neutered (and what is this?). Then I will be ready for some lucky family to be matched with me so I can live the rest of my life with them.
