Please keep Ruth’s furever momma in your thoughts. She had to say goodbye to her sweet girl. She writes: Just wanted to let y’all know that Ruth (formerly China) passed away this evening. She had a great life and I spoiled her rotten and loved every second of being her mom! I am so thankful for y’all!
China was ADOPTED!!!!!China is a sweet little angel that found her perfect match. We know China will be the happiest and most loved bulldog on the planet in her forever home. China rode off into the morning sun with a bulldog smile on her face.
China is a 7 yr. old female that weighs 46lbs.
6/3/2015 Update: Welcome a new angel into rescue! China is a small 7 year old brown and white unaltered female weighing only 46 pounds. She was picked up from a local shelter after a lady found her wandering around in some flood water. In spite of her being micro-chipped and numerous efforts to reunite her with her family, China has joined the Lone Star Bulldog Rescue family. She has an ear infection and both ears are heavily impacted, other than that she appears in good health. She does great on a leash and enjoys lounging in a crate. She travels well. She is just a bundle of sweetness! Someone will be very lucky to adopt he.
6/14/2015 Update: This is our first week with China. She is the sweetest little girl. She has been great with our kids. China goes to the door when she needs to potty and comes when called. She loves to be in the same room as people. China also gets along with our bulldog. She loves to have a crate that she can go in and out of as she pleases. I can’t say enough about how sweet and laid back she is
6/28/2015 Update: China continues to be a great dog. She comes when called and sits on command. She does not jump on people or furniture. She loves a good belly scratch and gets along great with our kids and other dog. She has a very relaxed personality. Her tongue is always sticking out and ready to hand out kisses. She is very sweet and loving.
7/5/2015 Update: China is recovering from her heartworm treatment this week. It seemed to really take a lot out of her. She is sleeping more and moving slowly. She has had a good appetite though which is good. She is on the mend.
7/12/2015 Update: China had a great week. She is recovering nicely from her heartworm treatment. She is off all medications for her ears. She looks and feels great. She has a sweet disposition and loves sitting in the sun. With this heat, we have to carry her back inside because 5 minutes is just not long enough in her eyes.
7/18/2015 Update: China had another great week. The end of her post-heartworm treatment rest is getting close, and it shows. She wants to play with the other dogs so badly. She loves a good bone and attention. China also allows you to dress her up. We had a busy house this weekend, and she is the perfect host.
7/25/2015 Update: Guess who is off medical rest…. CHINA!!!! She is making up for lost time. She has been non-stop playing since she woke up. She is alternating between horseplay with a 65 lb bulldog (and winning) and chasing a ball. She is a sweet peach to other dogs unless you come near her toy.
8/2/2015 Update: China has taken over the largest dog crate we have (think Lab size). It gives her more room to store all her toys. China continues to enjoy her playtime with her foster brother. She might be small, but we are pretty sure she is the boss. China would be great for someone looking for unconditional love and sweetness.
