2/22/26 FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS ~ Please wrap your love around the family of Coco Chanel Mademoiselle. They recently had to say goodbye to the sweet girl they adopted in October 2024.
Her pops writes: Unfortunately, Coco Chanel has left us. We want to thank Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue for giving us the gift of Coco. She truly was one of a kind. She made our lives so much better, our relationships so much stronger and our ability to love so much greater. She will be loved by our family for as long as we exist. She will not be soon forgotten. She was perfect.

AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT ~ As an adoption coordinator, I experience a blend of excitement and anxiety when working with a family who has never had a Bulldog before.
On one hand, we all have to have our “first Bulldog” to gain that invaluable experience (and trust me, they never look back!). On the other hand, how do I convey all the things about Bulldogs that need to be said to ensure the family is ready?
Lucky for me, this family was prepared. They had done their homework; they understood the breed’s heat sensitivity, breathing issues, and potential allergies. They even knew about the occasional need for bottom wiping! Still, I wanted to guide them toward a dog that would be a bit easier for their first experience.
Enter Coco Chanel Mademoiselle.
Volunteers Dianne and Sheliah just knew Coco Chanel Mademoiselle would be perfect. They had me laughing at how laid back Coco was when they were trying to clean her spay stitches. Let’s just say, that didn’t go as smoothly as planned, but Coco took it all in stride.
The family fell in love with Coco at first sight, and she was adopted the very next day!
Happy trails, Coco Chanel Mademoiselle! You may not have spent long in rescue, but isn’t that the ultimate goal?
INTRODUCTION ~ Good Morning all, it’s me, Coco Chanel Mademoiselle joining rescue!
Yep, that is a big name but I a big ole lady. And I am just as amazing as the perfume I was named after. I am thick and sweet and leave a huge impact on everyone who meets me. Wherever I go people just stop and stare. I let them look and touch and watch them as they try and inhale my beauty.
I joined rescue after my mom had some life changes that she did not see coming. It was a tearful good-bye, and she had to get the Kleenex box out and wipe away the tears, but she knew me joining rescue was the place that I needed to be. I hopped up in the rescue wagon, waved good-bye. I was excited to meet some new people, other bulldogs and have an adventure.
My Mom will be watching me on social media, making sure I get plenty of treats, get bathed in my special shampoo and find a fabulous family who needs a Coco Chanel Mademoiselle in their lives. I am 4 years old, just a youngster!
