Ellie Mae Clampett

Ellie Mae Clampett

Please lift up Ellie Mae Clampett’s furever family in your thoughts, as they recently had to say goodbye to their precious girl.
Her pops writes: We are utterly and completely devastated our Ellie Mae unexpectedly crossed the Rainbow Bridge on January 12, 2021. We adopted her from y’all four years ago and she became the light of our home. She gave us more love than we ever could have imagined. She had the biggest personality and everyone who met her knew who she was and she was unforgettable. She thought she was put on this earth to be petted for hours. She loved to be outside, lounging by the pool, and to just be by your side. She was a force to be reckoned with.
She was a huge piece of the puzzle in our world and our house seems so quiet without her. She was stronger than I ever was and always knew how to make everything better, no matter what. We are so fortunate and lucky to have found her on your site. She made our house a home. Thank you for helping to bring her to us. She was a true gift and blessing. We will miss her more than words can say, but we know she is at peace. Rest easy, sweet girl. You can breathe again.

It was love at first sight on Friday when Kelly and Jeremy met Ellie Mae, and Ellie Mae knew they were her people! Today was adoption day and I could not have been happier! Ellie has a perfect family that will love and spoil her rotten!

Please welcome Ellie Mae Clampett to our rescue family! Ellie will be 3 years old on Oct. 27 and she is just about perfect in every way! She will be spayed on Friday. Stay tuned for more details on her.

10/9/16 Update:  Ellie Mae Clampett is like a 70 lb rolling bowling ball. Clampett takes her half right out of the middle, knocks everyone out of the way, and does not take no for a answer. I believe this big old Southern babe was surrendered because she grew too big… they may have wanted a 30 lb bulldog and ended up with a big one. As she grew larger, she may have stayed crated in her former home because she’s not quite sure how to be part of a family yet. Clampett is beautiful, but needs a family with no kids under 100 lbs or they are gonna go flying across the room when she comes running.

10/16/16 Update:  Ellie Mae will bulldoze her way into the front and center to get all the attention possible. We’ve learned she doesn’t like to share with other dogs, so she’s been separated in the house. Ellie also gets very nervous around small kids, so an active family with older kids will be perfect.

11/6/16 Update:  No Bulldog is as cute as she is. And she LOVES people of any size. And she LOVES to walk. And she needs a fur-free family to love her. Any active family that only wants one Bulldog and is happy with a shadow would love Ellie Mae!
