Another sad loss for us… we learned alumna Fergie has flown to the Rainbow Bridge to wait for her furever family. Her pops writes: We adopted Fergie back in December 2018 and we just wanted to let y’all know she passed away last night. She was the best thing that has ever happened to us. She was loving, sweet and wanted nothing more than to be with Ashley and me. We are beyond heartbroken that the good Lord would take away an angel like Fergie from us. She had a ulcer and became anemic, so I rushed her to the emergency vet and they gave her a blood transfusion, which helped, but we needed to take her to another vet that was more suited. She was doing great and we were going to be able to bring her home today until we got the call that she took one last breath and they couldn’t bring her back. We drove as fast as we could to see her one last time. Heartbreak is a understatement at this time. The pain will never fully go away. She was a angel … I truly believe that. She brought us so much happiness. The pain and void in our hearts will never go away.
Here is a photo of Fergie. She loved to be dressed up by her mommy. She was the best child a person could’ve ever asked for. Her love, caring and fearless attitude were beautiful. If Ashley or I would move around the house, she would wake up to check on us. She loved car and stroller rides. When she heard you get her collar or harness, she was running to go for a ride.
I don’t know if we’ll ever get over Fergie. We are so heartbroken that we can barely function. We just want to hold our baby girl and tell her how much we loved her.

Hey friends, it’s me Fergie on adoption day!  That’s right here I am with my new family wearing a new outfit! And guess what, I have a new bulldog sister that loves to dress up too! My new sister is Lola and she loved me the second she saw me. My new family already bought me a new bed and some new blankets, new bowls and a lot of other things and  they told me if I wanted to I could sleep in their bed too!  I know that I hit the jackpot and I am so ready to start this new spoiling process, breakfast in bed, spa day, new clothes and living a great life with my new family! So Merry Christmas to me, it’s the most wonderful time of the year!

How long it temporary? I guess it’s 6 years. That’s how long I have been living with my last family. They told my first family they would keep me temporarily, until they found me a forever family. That was 6 years ago. But now there has been a death in the family and they can’t keep me any longer.

So here I am in rescue looking for another family to keep me the rest of my life. I am around 8 years old, but I don’t look like it or act like it. I am in good health, but I am told I will need some surgery on my lady parts I never used and won’t need any more. The surgery may keep me from getting a bad infection later. I love playing with kids, but I prefer boy dogs over girl dogs. Too many girls can be a pain sometimes! Am I right? Besides, I am all the girl you need.

I’m looking forward to a quick stay in rescue and then on to my real and final forever home. I just might be the perfect match for you!

12/1/18 Update:  As you can see, I had to Uber to the North Pole to give a shout out to Santa. I told him that I finished some minor repairs at the vet clinic and now I am ready for my new family!

I am great on a leash and can really walk a long way. I love people and I have been around several Bulldogs and so far, so good. The only thing that makes me nervous is if they get really, really close and get in my space to stay. I guess you might say I like other dogs that know boundaries. So, if you are ready for a love connection, you might want to look me up. I am a total love bug who loves a good belly rub!
