11/15/25 FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS ~ This week, our sweet foster girl Gemma Gemstone left us far too soon. During what was meant to be a routine spay, the vet discovered a tumor the size of an orange, and that cancer had already spread throughout her body. Her lymph nodes were swollen, and the prognosis was devastating.
Dr. Shiplov made the compassionate choice not to wake her up, sparing Gemma any further suffering. While our hearts are broken, we take comfort knowing that she is at peace now, free from pain and fear.
Gemma was a gentle soul, full of love and courage. Though her time with us was too short, the pawprints she left on our hearts will be eternal.
Run free, sweet Gemma Gemstone. You were loved beyond measure, and you will never be forgotten.
