Isabela

Isabela

Sweet Isabela recently injured her back in an accident. Even after treatment she was having numerous physical and neurological complications. She became suddenly paralyzed from the shoulders down. The decision was made in consultation with our vet that she no longer would have any quality of life. It was decided to help this sweetie cross the Rainbow Bridge. Are thoughts are with her foster family. God’s speed sweet girl.

Please don’t let my beauty blind you. Everywhere, I go people just stop and stare. I am naturally beautiful. I have had no cosmetic surgeries to enhance any part of this beautiful body. I was just born this way. And another fabulous thing about me: I am just as beautiful on the inside as I am on the outside.

I have never met a stranger and I do my best to make everyone feel beautiful too. I am 4 years old and I will be having a brief stay with Dr. Larsen so she can see just what perfection looks like. Then after a little surgery and recovery, I will be looking through the applications for a fabulous family that appreciates a beautiful Bulldog on the inside and out!

11/7/18 Update:  I’ve unpacked my bags and am all settled into the foster resort. I’m loving the life of resort style living! I walked right in and immediately became part of the family. I get along great with my new foster fur brother and sister. Foster Mom and Pops are amazing! There’s so much to explore and do here. My favorite events are playing, eating and sleeping, all in that particular order. Foster Mom says I’m extremely sweet and very loving. Yes, she’s right about that! I love lots of attention. I follow the foster parents from room to room, everywhere they go. Yes, even the bathroom 🤣. Speaking of bathroom, I am for the most part potty trained, but have had just a few oops. I’m 95% there though and should be 100% very soon!

Like most everyone, the foster parents are amazed at my extreme beauty and abundance of wrinkles. Shhhh, don’t tell anyone I said this, but have you ever wondered why wrinkles look so beautiful on pups like me, but don’t look so good on skin people. 😳 Oops, did I say that?! This weekend, I had an event outing at Bar 2909. So many nice people were taken away by my beauty and loving personality. I felt compelled to literally walk around and introduce myself to everyone! I demonstrated my playful personality with some of the balls that were given to all of us pups. I must say I think I won the crowd over and melted a few hearts too💕🐾

Now, I’m back at the resort preparing to review applications. I’m sure with my beauty and personality, there’s a special family out there that is perfect for me. Resort life is fun for a while, but like they say, there’s no place like home! ❤️ and wet kisses, Isabela

11/25/18 Update:  I’ve been helping Foster Mom get ready for Thanksgiving. Most of the time, she does all the work and I just supervise. I follow her from room to room and especially watch her very closely when she is in the kitchen. I must make sure the floor stays clean at all times! If there is the least bit of pie or casserole that lands on the floor, I am there to immediately clean it up! 😋

I am a very social girl and love being in the same room with my people. Wherever you go is where want to be. I love to play and hope that my new family will want to play too. Balls are my very favorite toys. I can play soccer with them, and I love to play keep away and chase the ball. I’m having a blast at the Foster House with my skin people and fur brother and sister, but I can’t wait for the day when have my forever home. Foster Mom says it’s almost time for Christmas. Hmmmm, I wonder if Santa can bring me a forever family…? Hugs and wet kisses, Isabela

12/12/18 Update:  It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 🎶
Isabela here wishing everyone a very merry Christmas! Oh, how I love Christmas. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Yesterday, I got to dress up in my new sweater and scarf and go to The Craftcade Pinball Bar for an ugly sweater party. I didn’t have fun… I had a blast! So many nice people and the funniest part? There was a man with a beard wearing the ugliest cat sweater and cap I have ever seen. 🤣 It was so much fun and I made lots of new friends. This week, I’ve learned that Christmas is about giving. So, for Christmas I would like to give you a life of love and happiness. Maybe I’ll show up in your stocking or with a big red bow around my neck? Go ahead… fill out that application today! You could be matched to me and have a soft cuddly Isabela sitting on your lap Christmas morning.

OK folks, gotta run for now. Have yourself a merry little Christmas! Love and wet kisses,  Isabela
