Miss Cleo

Miss Cleo

It is one of those things we struggle to accept and cannot explain. Miss Cleo passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at her foster home. We express our thanks and prayers to her foster family for loving this sweet girl. Fly high precious girl. We will see you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Miss Cleo is a charming 2-year-old Bulldog who has joined us alongside her lively stepsister, Miss Opal. Their previous owner needed to travel for work and realized that both girls deserved a life filled with love, not confinement.

These delightful “snack-sized” Bulldogs are slightly larger than a large French Bulldog, each with their own unique personality!

Miss Cleo is the picture of calm and contentment. She does just fine in her kennel when needed and is truly a little gem. Friendly and affectionate, she gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even the cats. Plus, she’s making great strides with her house training!

Miss Cleo is scheduled to be spayed on October 10, and then she will be ready for her next home.

10/11/24 Update: Yesterday was Oktoberfest in Granbury, so our foster mom and dad took Miss Opal and me on a grand adventure. We had the time of our lives! There were so many pats and cuddles, and we even enjoyed a live concert—it was fantastic!

We met a young Bulldog named Ruby who was just as excited as we were. At Bob’s Off The Square, they treated us to plenty of ice water and set up misters to help us stay cool. I even met a boy and fell in love— I really wanted to go home with him and his Bulldog! So it’s safe to say I  love kids.

After Bob’s, we strolled around the square and, believe it or not, we met a monkey named Amelia! She was looking for a dog of her own and showered us with love. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!

When we got home, we were so tired that we took a nice nap I even decided to take a dip on the pool ledge afterward!
