Ruth (Now Lucy)

Ruth (Now Lucy)

Our precious Lucy crossed the rainbow bridge Monday night💔our hearts are broken. We are so thankful to Rita Andrews Brestrup, Elizabeth Dianne Mathis, and Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue for allowing us to adopt this sweet girl.she was 4 when we adopted her and we had her for 2 years and 3 months. She was treated like a princess and will remain forever in our hearts

Ruth has been ADOPTED!! (3/13/16)  From her foster momma: Kathy and Bob were thrilled to get Ruth today and take her to her new home in San Marcos. Ruth will be treated like a real princess.

Please welcome Ruth to the Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue family! This owner surrender is 4 years old and seems a bit skittish at this time. We’ll be working with her to gain her trust and help her come out of her shell. Please stay tuned for more info and photos.

1/31/16 Update:  She will hopefully be spayed on Monday. She is love all wrapped up in one package. She will be off to a foster where she will not stay long because she is darn near perfect.

2/3/16 Update:  Ruth is so loving.  She likes to get very close to you and sit sweetly.  She craves affection but will flinch a bit when you reach down to touch her head.  Ruth looks at you with such loving eyes, like she’s anticipating the good things to come.  She doesn’t mind her crate.  It is sort of a refuge for her.  She’s a big fan of turkey and Muenster cheese but has yet to eat homemade treats, maybe because they are vegetarian. Ruth has discovered the best room in the house… the kitchen. Ruth has learned from her fur sisters that food just might fall from the highchair. Yes, she loves the kitchen.

2/7/16 Updarte:  Ruth’s foster momma is in love with Ruth. She said she is PERFECT in every way. Ruth and her foster momma walk together everywhere. If her foster momma moves, Ruth moves too. Ruth’s perfect family will let Ruth be their side kick because she is desperate for attention and she wants to be with her people everywhere they go! Today, she sported her new pink harness and leash from Hollywood Feed.

2/15/16 Update:  Foster girl Ruth deserves the biggest ribbon for best disposition and most loving, not to mention this beautiful face. She has already won many rewards (hugs and kisses) for having such a beautiful face and kissable lower lip. Perfection, that’s the way you would describe Ruth.  She makes every step her foster momma makes. Her momma thinks she might be almost part human, she is very smart.
