We adopted Wilbur on May 18, 2016 and renamed him Dez. He passed the rainbow bridge tonight sleeping in his favorite spot – the couch. We will miss him and loved him so much. Thank you Lonestar for trusting us to love him!!
Dez, formerly known as Wilbur, has been adopted today! On Saturday, Dez met his forever family and it was a love match for everyone, including a new fur brother named, Tex. Tex is 8 years old and will be a great buddy and mentor for the 2 year old. Dez has hit the jackpot with his new family and will be spoiled by his parents and his new skin brother and sister. This sweet and loving bulldog didnt have such an easy start in life, but its all fun, play and love from now on!
Meet 2 year old Wilbur who was picked up today from an animal shelter after he was found wandering the streets. Unfortunately, he’s in bad shape, with bad eyes and skin. He has numerous inflamed bald spots and the longest toenails anyone has ever seen. He has also started a round of antibiotic that should begin to help. But he soon will be on the road to recovery!
5/8/16 Update: The happiest, most lovable Bulldog boy is named Wilbur. This 2 year old has it all going on: he is playful, adorable and just about the most awesome Bulldog that we have ever fostered. Wilbur had been a stray with a horrible skin infection and was painfully thin. With amazing vet care, his infection is cleared up, hair is growing back and he’s gaining weight by the day. This is a very smart boy that is quickly catching on to how inside manners work and how to be a part of a pack. He loves people and loves playing with his foster sister until he is completely worn out. It is so much fun to watch! Wilbur is a beautiful boy that deserves the absolute best family.
