Achilles has been adopted!!! Everybody is thrilled about this one!
It was a bittersweet day when Achilles and his family had to part ways.
Despite their love for him, they found that Achilles, with his boundless energy and enthusiasm, sometimes had a hard time adjusting to his size. He didn’t quite realize how playful he could be, and as a result, he accidentally knocked over the two small kids in the household.
Achilles is a loving, playful Bulldog who gets along with everyone—kids, small dogs, and big dogs alike. His best friend was a tiny French Bulldog, and they were inseparable. Achilles is known for his big, friendly bark that he uses to greet new people, but don’t worry—his bark is all show and no bite.
He’s crate trained, potty trained, and has even enjoyed lounging by the pool on the tanning ledge.
Achilles will need a minor surgery soon, but after that, he’ll be ready to find a new family. His ideal home would be with older kids who can keep up with his playful spirit. Achilles loves going for walks, playing outside in nice weather, and he’s even a champ at standing still for baths and nail trims.
Achilles is a true gem, and he’s eager to find a family who will include him in all their adventures. He’s ready to bring his fun-loving, energetic personality to a home where he can run, play, and be the happy, lovable Bulldog he’s meant to be!
8/29/24 Update: Yes, I’ve heard the joke about my “heel” more times than I can count. I’m still pondering if it’s funny or not!
I’m a big, friendly 3 1/2-year-old. I get along great with my fur brother and have a blast playing with him, my foster mom, her kids, and her older grandkids. I might be a bit too boisterous for the younger kids, but I’ll let you know how I handle them when they come to visit. When I’m all tuckered out, though, I’m a cuddling champion!
I’m already a pro with the doggy door and am getting the hang of “night night” time, which means it’s crate time for me.
