Ali Cupcake, now Bubble, has been adopted! This spunky beauty charmed the socks off her new dad and now she’ll be living it up in Austin. She’s even more excited to spend her days working by her new dad’s side. I think these two are in store for some amazing adventures together!
A few days ago, Ali Cupcake must have hopped into the car for a ride, and like all Bulldogs, she was excited for the journey.
She ended up at the park in town, but then something strange happened.
The people who brought her there let her go—and then, without a second thought, sprinted back to their car, leaving Ali Cupcake behind.
It all happened in broad daylight, but luckily for Ali Cupcake, the park was busy, and she had no trouble making friends.
One family, who witnessed the whole event, couldn’t believe their eyes. They were determined to make sure nothing bad would happen to her. They waited, hoping to see if her family would return. Was there an emergency? Had she been stolen and the crooks had second thoughts on keeping her?
Whatever the reason, one thing is clear—Ali Cupcake is absolutely perfect. She loves sitting in your lap, showering you with sweet licks, and she’s completely content with her “thick” figure. The shelter believes she’s around 1.5 years old, and there’s no sign she’s ever had puppies or been spayed.
Time will tell if anyone comes forward to say, “That’s my girl ~ she was stolen a while back!” But for now, Ali Cupcake is safe, loved and we’re all giving thanks for that.
11/30/24 Update: Ali Cupcake has been in her foster home for three days and is settling in wonderfully! She’s a playful puppy with lots of silly energy, but she’s starting to relax more each day. She had a blast during the Thanksgiving festivities, even enjoying some turkey for dinner!
Ali Cupcake is getting along great with the other dogs in the house and is also cat-friendly. She appears to be potty trained and enjoys short walks.
Although she’s not quite sure about toys yet, we’re working on that, and she’s starting to show interest. Right now, her favorite things to nibble on are ankles and hands. Ali Cupcake is crate trained and, as you can see, absolutely adorable!
