Look at us! Have you ever seen such a great looking couple? This is me with my new mom. I got an early Christmas present for sure!
Foster Mom told me we were going to meet some really nice people and was she ever right. She told me to behave and that we were going to meet a CAT also. Well, I checked in on that cat and he said I had better hurry up and move in…. so I did!
I have all I want for Christmas ~ a new mom, dad and a really furry cat of my very own. Merry Christmas to all!
A few months ago, I was brought to the shelter by animal services with a broken leg, some skin issues, and a few scrapes.
Thankfully, I got the care I needed right away, and it didn’t take long for me to become the shelter’s favorite! Once my leg healed and my skin cleared up, I got to just relax and enjoy life.
I became the official greeter, welcoming everyone with a wagging bum and a big smile. On some days, there were donuts, on others, eggs and bacon — but every day came with something delicious! I was a patient pup through it all, and healing from my injury took a little time, but I was a trooper. I watched so many dogs and cats leave with their new families, and after a while, I started wondering if it might be my turn.
Though I was loved by so many, I found myself alone in the office at the end of each day, and I couldn’t help but feel a little down. I think my friends at the shelter noticed, too. So, after talking things over, we agreed that it was time for me to leave the shelter and find my next real home ~ especially because I’m only about a year and a half.
I’m super excited to take this next step! I’ll be seeing Dr. Larsen on Monday for a check-up, and after that, I’ll be ready to find my perfect match. I’m waiting for a home that’s just right for me!
